Benefits of what we do ?

Harvest Bowl is a non-profit organization that started a gleaning program in 2018 with local farmers to dehydrate unused crops and turn them into soup mixes for nearby food banks and shelters. As part of the program, Harvest Bowl approached the Township of Malahide to use the South Dorchester Community Hall as a base for the pilot project.

The Harvest Bowl applies for grant funding and community sponsorships to cover operating costs and offset necessary capital expenses. Each year, as the need for food security grows, we search for additional grant opportunities to help cover rental and capital costs.
