Baked Beans

1 package Family Sized Bean Soup

4 cups water

¼ cup Molasses OR Maple Syrup

¼ cup Ketchup

1 Tbsp Yellow Mustard

Directions:

Cover beans with water and Soak Beans overnight or Quick Soak : Cover with water in sauce pan, bring to boil and boil for 2 minutes, remove from heat and let soak for 1 hour.

No need to drain beans. Mix beans, seasoning package from soup mix, maple syrup or molasses, mustard and ketchup in slow cooker. Make sure beans are just covered in water-may need to add more. Slow cook for 4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low. Alternatively put mixture in covered oven proof dish and bake for 6 hours at 300 degrees. Check beans ½ way through cooking, more water may be necessary if looking dry.

Yield: 10, ½ cup servings
